What Is a Housing Related Support Tender?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Housing related support tenders enable individuals to access and maintain a tenancy and gain, and\/or regain and sustain, independent living skills. Provision is directed towards vulnerable people, including those that are homeless and at risk of homelessness, victims of violence and abuse, alcoholism and substance abuse, Service Users with mental health needs, ex-offenders, care leavers and young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who Commissions Housing Related Support Tenders?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Local authorities have responsibility for assessing the need for and the commissioning of housing related support services.  The majority of procurement processes will seek to contract services from a single provider, although we do sometimes see multiple providers awarded as part of framework agreements, with different elements of service provision, or levels of need broken down over individual lots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
